Golden Book - March 2017
Well done to all those children who have been awarded a Golden book certificate in March. All children were awarded a certificate for their participation in Maths Week and exemplary behaviour on the trips.
24th March - we thought about children who are less fortunate than ourselves as we raised money for Red Nose day - a whopping £58.49p.

Harry - for being an ambassador for our school values, manners and caring for other. Harry is always very polite and takes others feelings into consideration before making decisions.

Laura L - for your performance in the play and your growth in confidence. You spoke clearly and confidently in front of an audience and are now willing to try new things, very well done.
Joe - for your performance as the Christmas cat in the play. You have grown up so much this term and show great confidence in yourself. You have become more independent and work hard to always improve. Very well done.
Elodie - even though it has been a busy time with the Christmas play, you have chosen learning activities and always give your best. You are keen to improve and we have seen how your reading and writing have developed this term. Very well done.
Headteacher's award - Mrs O'Neil, Mrs Wallace, Mrs Mayes and Mrs Bird for all your extreme hard work getting costumes together, teaching the songs and the speaking parts, creating a back drop to the stage and putting on two wonderful performances. Many grateful thanks.

Laura W - for your fantastic blending work. You know all your sounds and can blend these together to make words. Well done for reading words in books and being so enthusiastic about your learning and taking great pride in what you do.
Francesca - for making great effort with your handwriting and showing a super improvement since the beginning of term. We really like your joins. Well done for focussing on your work and greater concentration.
Christopher - for showing great enthusiasm for your learning and having a huge smile on your face when you come into school. You ask lots of interesting questions to further your learning and make great efforts in class. It's lovely to see you so happy.

Jamie is the kindest child, he is always so thoughtful of others both adults and children. Jamie goes out of his way to make someone happy, to help others and shows the value of service, kindness and friendship everyday. Well done Jamie.

Laura L - for fantastic writing about Florence Nightingale, you used great description and feelings in your letter writing. A great effort on handwriting too.
Maddison - for a fantastic effort on neat handwriting, you've really tried hard since September to make your letters the same size and write on the line. Well done.
Ella - for your amazing re-telling of a story when you are reading, you include lots of details and description and really look at the expressions on the characters faces in the pictures.
Golden Book Assembly Friday 18th November
Congratulations to our children who have been awarded a Golden Book Certificate this week:
Beau - for fantastic work using the talking tins, for talking clearly and precisely. Beau has impressed us with her language and how she articulates information. She has also been seen displaying great friendship and kindness, two of our values.
Isabella - for working really hard and persevering even though she has felt tired this week. Isabella has impressed us with her cheery nature, big smile and kindness. She is always very helpful. She is also a real ambassador for joined handwriting.
Jamie - for always being incredibly kind, he has been heard to say such kind things to other children and yesterday thought about someone who was poorly. He is always polite and helpful.
