Services at St Nicholas Church, Newton Blossomville.
Rector - Revd. Canon Christa Pumfrey
Church Warden - Mr. Taylor
Services are held at Newton Blossomville at various times across the month. Please see the church noticboard for times.
The school uses the church regualarly for collective worship, times of reflection and RE lessons when appropriate. The whole school community come together to celebrate Harvest, Christmas and Easter. At the Leavers Service in July we rejoice in the completion of another school year and all that we have achieved together. On these occasions we delight in worshipping God with children, parents, staff, governors, clergy and villagers together.
Christian Values
Our school family has chosen 12 values that underpin the ethos at Newton Blossomville over a two year cycle. They are values for life based on the teachings of Christianity. The children learn about the values in collective worship, R.E and P.S.H.E lessons and the value for the half-term is displayed around the school. Children are praised and rewarded for showing the value through stickers, verbal praise and in celebration worship. Our values also underpin the British Values of 'law, democracy, individual liberty and mutual respect'.
