At The Village Schools Federation, we are committed to ensuring that all children continue to feel supported, connected and inspired in their learning when learning from home. Our remote education offer provides high-quality learning experiences that help children continue to make progress and maintain a strong sense of belonging.  

During periods of remote learning, children will receive a planned programme of activities focused on core areas of learning, including reading, writing, phonics and maths, alongside opportunities for creativity and physical activity.  

Children may access a mixture of: 

• Live or recorded lessons 

• Online activities and resources 

• Story sessions and collective worship/ assembly 

• Regular contact with staff through Teams or Class Dojo  

We are committed to supporting all pupils, including those with additional needs, through adapted activities and regular communication with families.  

Safeguarding and online safety remain a priority at all times, and all remote learning is delivered in line with the school’s safeguarding and data protection procedures.  

By working together with families, we aim to ensure every child continues to flourish, wherever they are learning.
